Becoming An Expert
Jessica Buffington began working for a real estate company in Memphis just as the market crashed.
Young, eager, and determined to succeed, she decided to keep her license and push forward. Over the next five years, she sold millions of dollars in real estate and helped grow a small firm into a multi-million dollar producing company.
She became a board member of the Multi Million Dollar Club, Women’s Council of Realtors, Realtor Education Foundation, and served as President of the Young Professionals Network.
FrontDoor In The Making
March 1, 2015, Jessica raced to meet the application deadline for the Upstart accelerator for gender-diverse teams at StartCo.
She learned about the program the day before and decided (on a bit of a whim) to apply with her dreams of starting an untraditional real estate company that eliminates the high commission fees paid for clients and automates the tedious work for the agent.
After a long and amazing summer, FrontDoor graduated from the program and pitched at Memphis Demo Day 2015.
Today & Tomorrow
With a still small, but mighty team of ninjas, we’ve saved home sellers over $3,000,000 in commission fees and have active listings in 15 states across the country.
FrontDoor has an active platform which matches home sellers with a full-service agent who will provide all of their traditional marketing and services for a flat fee of $2,500 paid at closing.
Much to our excitement, FrontDoor is participating in the first ever Global Accelerator Network (GAN) Scale School in 2017.
